Module Overview

This module is designed to help you check in with yourself with greater self-compassion and identify what you need to be your best self, both at work and at home. You will explore how to prioritise your time and wellbeing, helping you create a healthier balance and be more focused, effective and productive.

You will learn to recognise your personal stress triggers and develop practical coping strategies to help regulate your nervous system, manage stress and reduce the risk of burnout. You will also learn to distinguish between burnout and moral injury, helping you better understand what may be affecting your wellbeing and how to respond.

Through patient scenarios and practical role play, you will explore assertiveness, setting healthy boundaries, communicating your needs and responding confidently to challenging situations.

You will explore mindfulness and relaxation techniques to help you release tension, restore a sense of calm and be more present in the moment. You will also look ahead, creating a future vision and personal wellbeing plan to help you turn your insights into positive, sustainable action.

The practical exercises, tips and quick techniques you learn can support your own wellbeing and can also provide useful tools to share with patients who may be experiencing anxiety or stress.
